ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the relationship between motor skills and sensory processing in children aged 4 to 11 years. Researchers want to understand how these skills differ in children with typical development compared to those with developmental disorders, like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). By comparing these groups, the study aims to provide insights that could help improve support and interventions for children facing these challenges.
To participate, children must be between 4 and 11 years old and have either typical development or a diagnosis related to one of the disorders mentioned. Parents or guardians will need to give consent for their child to join. Participants will undergo assessments to measure their motor skills and sensory processing. The study is designed to ensure the privacy and safety of all participants, and they can choose to withdraw at any time. Overall, this research hopes to enhance the understanding of how motor skills and sensory processing are linked, which could lead to better care for children with developmental differences.
