ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new method for treating hemorrhoids called minimally invasive open excisional hemorrhoidectomy. The goal is to see if this approach can reduce pain after surgery while still providing the same benefits as the traditional method. The researchers want to find out if patients experience less discomfort and have a smoother recovery with this newer technique.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be over 18 years old and have grade III hemorrhoids, which means their hemorrhoids are severe enough to require surgery. People with certain conditions, like recent hemorrhoid issues, previous surgeries for hemorrhoids, or other specific health problems, won’t be able to join the study. If you participate, you can expect to receive careful monitoring during and after the surgery to help assess your pain levels and recovery. The trial is currently not open for recruitment, but it may be an option for those looking for treatment in the future.
