ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how eye-tracking technology can improve the way doctors and medical students learn and perform during surgeries. By using special equipment that follows where a person's eyes are looking, researchers want to understand how both experienced and new doctors focus their attention during important medical procedures. The goal is to see if analyzing these eye patterns can help improve safety in surgeries and enhance the training of medical students.
Participants in this study will include anesthesiologists, both senior and junior, as well as medical students who are learning about perioperative care (the care before, during, and after surgery). They will be involved in activities where their eye movements are monitored during surgical simulations. To join the study, individuals must not have any eye conditions that affect their eye movements and must be able to complete all parts of the study. This research hopes to not only make surgeries safer but also to transform how medical education is delivered by using data about where people focus their attention.
