ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how common Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD) are among university students. TMD can cause pain in the jaw and difficulty moving it, which can be influenced by things like eating habits and oral behaviors. The researchers want to find out how many students might be affected and what factors, such as what they eat and how often they use their jaws, could be linked to TMD.
To participate in this study, you need to be a university student at Karadeniz Technical University who can read and write in Turkish and is willing to join the study. However, if you have any serious health issues affecting your jaw or have had surgery or trauma in that area, you won’t be able to take part. If you join, you can expect to share information about your eating habits and oral care, helping researchers understand more about TMD in students. Your participation could contribute to better knowledge and treatment options for others facing similar issues.
