ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on testing a new way to support cancer rehabilitation using digital tools during and after cancer treatment. As more people survive cancer, it's important to find effective ways to help them recover and maintain their quality of life. This study aims to see if digital rehabilitation programs can make it easier for patients to access support, especially since many patients face challenges like long travel distances to rehabilitation centers and busy treatment schedules. The trial will involve around 300 patients from five countries in the South Baltic region, and it will look at how well these digital programs work and how they can be improved.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be diagnosed with cancer and either be starting systemic treatment (like chemotherapy) or have completed their treatment within the last six months. Participants can expect personalized rehabilitation support delivered by trained healthcare professionals, either fully online or partly in person, over a period of 8 to 16 weeks. The study will gather valuable information about how well these digital programs can be implemented in different countries and cultures, helping to shape better cancer rehabilitation services in the future.
