ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called EUthyroid2, is focused on addressing iodine deficiency, which can lead to health problems, especially in young women. The study aims to raise awareness about the risks of iodine deficiency among women aged 18 to 24 living in Norway, Poland, the UK, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. Researchers will develop and test new strategies in healthcare settings to help improve knowledge and understanding of iodine's importance, and they will gather feedback through surveys and interviews with participants and healthcare professionals.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be non-pregnant women aged 18 to 24 who are able to understand the study information and consent forms. They should also be attending the specified healthcare settings. Women with thyroid diseases, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, will not be able to participate.
