ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called RAUCAMIENS, is studying a new approach to care for patients who need emergency surgery for digestive problems. The goal is to see if this new pathway, which includes special rehabilitation after surgery and tools for monitoring patients at home, can help reduce the number of patients who have to return to the hospital unexpectedly within 30 days after their surgery. This is important because many patients, especially older adults or those with other health issues, can face complications after surgery if they don't receive the right support.
To participate in this trial, you must be an adult (18 years or older) who has visited the emergency room for a digestive issue that requires surgery. You should also be able to provide consent and be part of a social security system. However, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain urgent medical needs, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive personalized care and ongoing support after your surgery to help improve your recovery and reduce the chances of needing to go back to the hospital. This research is crucial for finding better ways to care for patients in emergency situations.
