ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how education can help people with type 2 diabetes manage their condition better. It will take place in a health facility from February to May 2025. Participants will be randomly divided into two groups: one group will receive special training focused on motivational techniques for 8 weeks and will get reminder text messages for an additional 4 weeks. The other group will not receive any training. The goal is to see if this education can improve how well people take care of their diabetes and reduce feelings of hopelessness about their health.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old, have had type 2 diabetes for at least six months, and be able to understand and respond to questions. People who are hospitalized for diabetes-related issues during the study or who develop other health problems that prevent them from continuing will not be able to participate. This trial hopes to empower individuals with diabetes by enhancing their self-care habits and providing support through education.
