ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how a special type of brain stimulation called transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) combined with a training program that involves both thinking and moving can help stroke patients. The goal is to see if this combination improves their ability to walk and pedal while doing other tasks at the same time, and how it affects their brain activity.

To participate in this study, you need to be 50 years or older, have experienced a stroke at least six months ago, and be able to follow simple instructions. You should also be able to walk for 10 meters, even if you use a walking aid. However, if you have other neurological disorders, severe pain that affects walking, or a history of seizures, you may not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to take part in training sessions that help improve both your physical and mental skills, while researchers monitor changes in your brain activity. This study is currently recruiting participants, so it could be a valuable opportunity for those looking to improve their recovery after a stroke.
