ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special zinc oxide adhesive device designed to help secure catheters, which are small tubes inserted into veins to give medications or fluids to patients. The goal is to see if this device can reduce complications related to catheters, such as them moving out of place, causing skin issues, inflammation, or pain.
To participate in this study, you should be an adult patient who needs a midline catheter or a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) and will be hospitalized for at least 7 days. You'll also need to agree to participate by signing a consent form. However, if you have an allergy to zinc oxide, you won’t be able to join the trial. If you take part, you can expect to use the zinc oxide device on your catheter and help researchers learn more about improving catheter care for patients.
