ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how a specific assessment and intervention can help reduce problem behaviors in young children who have developmental disabilities or delays. The researchers want to see if using a method that focuses on understanding the reasons behind these behaviors can lead to positive changes for children receiving early intervention services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C.

To be eligible for this study, children need to be between birth and 5 years old, have a developmental disability or delay (which can be reported by their caregivers), and display problem behaviors. Caregivers, like parents or grandparents, will work closely with their child during the study. They will receive support from an early intervention professional who will help guide them through the process. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it offers a chance for families to get involved in helping improve their child's behavior with expert coaching and support.
