ClinConnect Summary
The "Digital Strategies to Advance Help-Seeking" trial is focused on helping young people aged 12 to 29 who are at risk of developing serious mental health issues, specifically psychosis. The goal of the study is to find better ways to encourage these individuals to seek help and start treatment early. Researchers will work with a large group of about 25,000 youth who have indicated they might be at risk. They will develop personalized strategies using digital tools to help connect these young people with local mental health services, making it easier for them to get the support they need.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be between 12 and 29 years old, live within 50 miles of a participating site in the U.S., and be able to complete an online mental health screening in English. If you or someone you know fits this description and is interested, the study is currently recruiting participants. Those involved can expect to take part in activities that help improve access to mental health care, which is crucial for their well-being.
