ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how radiation therapy affects women with uterine neoplasms, which are tumors in the uterus. The study aims to gather information about how effective the radiation treatment is and what side effects, or toxicities, may occur based on different treatment methods, dosages, and whether other therapies are used alongside radiation. By collecting data from around 5,000 female patients treated at the Sant'Orsola Polyclinic since January 1, 2000, the researchers hope to identify patterns that could help predict and prevent side effects in future patients.

To participate, women aged 18 and older who have either a new or previous diagnosis of malignant uterine neoplasm and have received radiation treatment at the clinic can join the study. It’s important for those interested to understand that they will need to give their consent to be part of the study. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to improve our understanding of how to provide safer and more effective radiation therapy for women with these types of tumors.
