ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different types of devices used to help patients breathe during surgery: the SaCo VLMTM video laryngeal mask airway and the I-gel supraglottic airway. Both devices are designed to keep the airway open while patients are under general anesthesia, but the trial will compare how well each device performs during elective surgeries that last less than two hours.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old, have a body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 30, and be classified as ASA I to III, which means your overall health is generally stable. However, certain conditions may prevent you from joining, such as smoking, specific facial or airway problems, or a history of upper airway infections. If you do participate, you can expect to be positioned on your back for the surgery, and the trial will help researchers understand which device works better for managing the airway during these procedures. It's important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants.
