ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into the relationship between abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) and primary lung cancer. Researchers have noticed that many patients with lung cancer are also found to have AAA, but the exact link between the two conditions is not well understood. The goal of this study is to gather more information about how common AAA is in people with lung cancer and to investigate why this might be happening. By doing so, the researchers hope to improve screening and prevention strategies for AAA in lung cancer patients, which could help with their overall treatment and survival.
To join this study, participants need to have a confirmed diagnosis of primary lung cancer. However, those who do not want to undergo abdominal imaging tests to check for AAA will not be included. As the trial is currently recruiting, eligible patients can expect to be involved in a multi-center investigation that gathers important data over time. This study aims to provide valuable insights that could benefit lung cancer patients in the long run.
