ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new way of teaching health science students in Malaysia using a technology called Simucase. The goal is to see if this method can help students learn better compared to traditional classroom techniques. The study will involve 24 students from fields like audiology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech therapy. These students will be divided into two groups: one will use Simucase for their learning, while the other will stick with standard teaching methods. Researchers want to find out if the students using Simucase develop better clinical skills and feel more satisfied with their learning experience.
To be eligible for this study, students need to be in their second to fourth year of an undergraduate program related to rehabilitation, such as physiotherapy or occupational therapy. However, international students and those who cannot participate during the semester break will not be included. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to improve how clinical skills are taught in health science education, potentially changing the future of higher education in Malaysia.
