ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of reformer Pilates on pregnant women, specifically looking at how it may help with various issues like pain in the back and neck, pelvic floor disorders, and overall physical function during pregnancy. The goal is to see if this type of exercise can improve the health and well-being of mothers-to-be while ensuring their safety and that of their babies.
To participate in this study, women must be between 18 and 35 years old, in their first pregnancy, and between 11 to 22 weeks along. They should also be in good health, with a body mass index (BMI) under 30, and able to read and write. Participants will engage in regular Pilates sessions and will be monitored for any changes in their physical health. This trial is a great opportunity for eligible pregnant women to explore how exercise can support them during this important time in their lives.
