ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of lavender essential oil on sleep quality and severity of insomnia in adults with psychophysiological insomnia, which is a common type of insomnia related to stress and anxiety. The researchers want to see if using lavender can help improve how well people sleep. While earlier studies have shown that lavender can be helpful for sleep, this trial is specifically looking at patients who have this particular type of insomnia, as there hasn't been much research done in this area yet.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with psychophysiological insomnia. You should also be able to read and understand Turkish, as the survey questions will be in that language. However, if you have certain health conditions, allergies to lavender, or are currently taking medications that affect sleep, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to be involved in activities that assess your sleep quality and the impact of lavender on your insomnia. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you think you might qualify, it could be a great opportunity to help contribute to important research on sleep.
