ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well two oral hygiene tools, the Waterflosser® and Super-Floss®, can help improve oral health for adult patients who are wearing braces. The main issues the study is focusing on are gingival bleeding (bleeding gums) and the buildup of dental plaque (a sticky film of bacteria on teeth). The trial will involve participants between the ages of 18 and 35 who are healthy and currently undergoing orthodontic treatment.
If you're eligible to participate, you can expect to use one of the two flossing devices to see which one helps reduce gum bleeding and plaque more effectively. The trial is still in the planning stages and has not started recruiting participants yet, so if you fit the age criteria and are in good health while wearing braces, this might be a great opportunity for you to contribute to dental research and improve your oral hygiene!
