ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Evaluation of Different Diagnostic Therapeutic Strategies in Patients with Thyroid Pathology," aims to better understand how different approaches for diagnosing and treating thyroid conditions like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, benign thyroid nodules, and thyroid cancer work. The study is currently recruiting participants who are 18 years or older and have had a diagnosis of one of these thyroid issues, either from this center or another since January 1995.
Eligible participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and medical information, which may help improve future care for thyroid patients. The study will look at both past and current patient data to identify the best strategies for diagnosing and treating these conditions. Participants can expect to be involved in a non-drug study that respects their privacy and requires their consent to join. If someone has had follow-up care for less than three months or has incomplete health information, they cannot participate. This study is important as it could lead to better treatment options for those dealing with thyroid problems.
