ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how different biological factors related to heart valve diseases, like aortic regurgitation and aortic stenosis, can differ between men and women. The researchers want to use advanced heart imaging techniques to find out how these factors can help predict how well patients will recover after heart valve surgery. The goal is to create a more personalized approach to treatment based on a person's sex, which can improve patient outcomes.

To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 90 years old and have been diagnosed with moderate to severe aortic regurgitation or aortic stenosis. Unfortunately, some people may not be eligible, such as those with certain heart conditions or those who cannot undergo a specific type of heart scan called an MRI. If you join the trial, you can expect to undergo detailed heart imaging and assessments that will help researchers learn more about heart diseases and how to treat them better in the future.
