ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how well girls aged 8 to 18 with Turner Syndrome can exercise. The main goal is to see if their exercise capacity, measured by a value called VO2 max (which tells us how much oxygen the body can use during exercise), is different from standard values for their age group. The study will also look at how their heart rate and blood pressure change while they are exercising on a special bike designed for this purpose.
To participate in this trial, girls must be diagnosed with Turner Syndrome and be between the ages of 8 and 18. It's important to note that girls who have severe mental impairments that would make it hard for them to complete the exercise tests cannot take part. Those who join the study can expect to undergo a standardized exercise test that will help researchers learn more about the exercise challenges faced by girls with this condition. This information could ultimately lead to better care and support for them in the future.
