ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how a specific type of rehabilitation focused on trunk control can help adolescents with cerebral palsy (CP). The main goal is to see if this therapy improves their ability to move their spine, control their upper body, and use their hands more effectively. The study also aims to look at how this rehabilitation might impact their overall health and daily functioning.
To participate, adolescents aged 12 to 18 with CP who are classified as levels 1 or 2 in movement ability might be eligible. This means they have some ability to walk and move but may need help with certain activities. Participants must also be able to understand and follow instructions and have no major medical issues like hip dislocation or significant curvature of the spine. If they join, participants can expect to engage in exercises and activities designed to improve their trunk control and skills, helping them lead a more active and independent life.
