ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods to help improve the color of discolored teeth, specifically focusing on teeth that have undergone root canal treatment (non-vital teeth). The trial compares the effectiveness of a diode laser and a special gel made from nano-chitosan with a common bleaching agent used in dental offices. The goal is to find out which method works better for giving patients a brighter smile.
To join this study, participants must have discolored upper front teeth (central and lateral incisors) that have been treated with a root canal at least two years ago. However, those with cavities in these teeth, poor dental fillings, or ongoing gum disease will not be eligible. While the study is not yet recruiting participants, those who qualify can expect to receive treatment aimed at improving tooth color, contributing to the growing understanding of effective dental care options.
