ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether gently touching the fetal head during the second stage of labor can help shorten the time it takes for a mother to give birth. Researchers believe that this simple action, which is easy to do and costs nothing, may also provide positive benefits for both the mother and the baby. The study aims to support comfortable and friendly practices for mothers and babies, as emphasized by health authorities.
To participate in this study, women must meet certain criteria. Eligible participants are first-time mothers who are at least 37 weeks pregnant and carrying a healthy baby. They should be mentally healthy, able to communicate, and have no serious medical conditions or use any medications. Participants can expect a supportive environment during their labor, and their experiences will help improve future care for mothers and newborns.
