ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how an AI-based physiotherapy program can help improve the physical abilities and quality of life for patients with oral cancer. The researchers will enroll 100 patients who have recently been diagnosed and will receive treatments like surgery or chemotherapy. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will use a mobile app to guide their physiotherapy exercises for 12 weeks, while the other group will receive standard care without the app. Both groups will do exercises for their jaw, neck, and shoulders, and researchers will measure their progress in areas like mouth opening, pain levels, and overall physical fitness before, during, and three months after the treatment.
To be eligible for this study, patients must be between 20 and 65 years old and newly diagnosed with oral cancer, scheduled for treatments related to their cancer. However, those who have trouble communicating or have certain movement disorders won’t be able to participate. If you or a loved one meets these criteria, this trial might offer a new way to support recovery and improve daily life during cancer treatment.
