ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special type of support called Psychological First Aid (PFA) can help older adults living in care facilities deal with stress and improve their mental well-being. As people age, many face challenges like feeling undervalued or having fewer social connections, which can lead to loneliness and mental health issues. The trial aims to see if PFA can reduce these feelings and help older adults feel more resilient, meaning they can better cope with difficult situations.
To participate in the study, you need to be at least 60 years old, have recently retired, and be able to communicate clearly. You'll also need to agree to take part and provide your consent. If you join, you can expect to receive support focused on improving your emotional health and social connections, which could lead to a better quality of life. The study is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could help improve care for older adults in the future.
