ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new tool called the Ain Shams University Cognitive Assessment (ASCA) to see how well it can detect early signs of cognitive impairment, such as mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia. Cognitive impairment refers to difficulties with thinking, memory, and reasoning. The goal is to determine if ASCA is effective compared to other commonly used tests.
To participate in this study, you need to be an older adult, at least 60 years old, and speak Arabic as your first language. However, if someone has severe dementia, major mental health issues, or significant problems with vision or hearing that would interfere with the assessment, they cannot join. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you qualify, you would be involved in an evaluation to help researchers understand how the ASCA tool works in identifying cognitive issues. Your participation could help improve early diagnosis and treatment for those experiencing cognitive decline.
