ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how aromatherapy, specifically the scents of lemon and lavender, may help children aged 9 to 12 who experience anxiety during exams, have trouble focusing, or struggle with academic performance. The researchers want to find out if using these fragrances can improve children's attention and lower their anxiety when taking tests.
To participate, children need to be between 9 and 12 years old and have permission from their family. They also need to be able to understand and agree to take part in the study. However, children with certain respiratory issues, allergies to lemon or lavender, special educational needs, or any ongoing health problems will not be eligible. If selected, participants will use an aromatherapy diffuser to experience the scents during the study, and the researchers will measure changes in their attention and exam anxiety. This study is a great opportunity to explore a natural approach to helping kids succeed in school!
