ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well artificial intelligence (AI) can help choose the best treatment for patients with Class II malocclusion, which is a type of dental misalignment. Specifically, the researchers want to find out if AI can accurately decide whether patients should receive a camouflage treatment (which hides the misalignment) or surgical treatment (which corrects the misalignment) for non-growing patients. This study will look at the records of patients who have already completed their orthodontic treatment at Cairo University.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be non-growing patients with Class II malocclusion, meaning their teeth are misaligned in a specific way. Unfortunately, if someone is still growing, they won't be able to join the study. As the trial is currently not recruiting participants, those interested will need to wait until the study begins. Overall, this research aims to see if AI can improve treatment planning, potentially leading to better outcomes for patients with this dental condition.
