ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new, non-invasive device that uses advanced ultrasound technology to help doctors see the major arteries in the brain for patients who have experienced a specific type of stroke called aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). This condition can lead to serious complications, and traditional imaging methods like CT scans or MRIs often require moving critically ill patients, which can be risky. The goal of the trial is to determine if this bedside device can safely and effectively detect these important blood vessels without the need for transport.

To participate in the trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old, admitted to the neurology intensive care unit for an aneurysmal SAH, and have a suitable area on their head for the ultrasound. However, there are some exclusions, such as those with allergies to the ultrasound contrast agent, severe high blood pressure, or who are pregnant. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to important research that may improve care for future patients with similar conditions.
