ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "The Implementation of the Go Wish Game to Promote Advance Care Planning in Onco-Hematologic Disease," is studying how a special card game can help patients with serious blood cancers, like leukemia and lymphoma, talk about their wishes for end-of-life care. The game, called the Go Wish Game, uses cards that list different wishes and values related to what someone might want during this time. The goal is to help patients, their families, and healthcare providers have important conversations about care preferences and complete necessary planning documents.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old and diagnosed with certain types of cancer that have a prognosis of more than three months. They should also be able to communicate in Italian and give written consent to join. Throughout the study, participants will engage in the Go Wish Game, and researchers will gather feedback through interviews and questionnaires to see how well the game works in improving communication and understanding around end-of-life decisions. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it is designed to make discussions about care preferences easier and more effective for patients and their families.
