ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how using artificial intelligence (AI) to provide education can help reduce fear and anxiety in women who are about to undergo a total mastectomy, which is a surgery to remove one or both breasts due to breast cancer. In this study, participants will be divided into two groups: one group will receive information and support through AI, while the other group will get standard education about the surgery. The main goal is to see if the AI-supported education helps lower feelings of fear and anxiety before the surgery.
To participate in this trial, women must be over 18 years old, able to read and understand information in Turkish, and scheduled for a total mastectomy due to breast cancer. It's important to note that women with certain mental health conditions or significant hearing or vision problems, as well as those who have participated in similar programs before, will not be included. Participants can expect to receive valuable education and support that could help them feel more at ease before their surgery. This research is currently looking for new volunteers to join the study.
