ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how two different types of treatments for neck pain work. Specifically, it will compare "rib mobilization," which is a technique that moves the ribs to improve neck function, with a more traditional treatment approach. The study will involve 44 participants aged 20 to 45 years who experience non-specific neck pain, meaning their pain isn’t linked to any specific injury or medical condition. To participate, individuals will need to have a pain score of 4 or higher on a scale of 0 to 10 and a Neck Disability Index score indicating that their neck pain is affecting their daily activities.
Participants in the trial will be randomly divided into two groups. One group will receive rib mobilization treatment, while the other will receive conventional care. They will undergo assessments before starting the treatment and again after four weeks to see how well the treatments work. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it is designed to help understand better ways to treat neck pain that can greatly affect people's quality of life. If you think you might be eligible and are interested in participating once recruitment begins, it’s a good idea to discuss this with your healthcare provider.
