ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking into whether a special type of light therapy called Bioptron can help improve the appearance of scars that form after a cesarean section (C-section). The goal is to see if using this therapy on women who have had a C-section can lead to better-looking scars.

To participate in this study, women need to be between 20 and 30 years old, have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or less, and must have had a C-section scar that is between 6 weeks and 6 months old. It's important that they are generally healthy and not pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study. Women with diabetes or those taking certain medications that weaken the immune system will not be included. Participants will receive the Bioptron therapy and can expect to attend follow-up appointments to see how their scars are healing. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to find out if this innovative therapy can make a difference in scar healing after C-sections.
