ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special program that combines physical and mental tasks can help older adults who are experiencing cognitive frailty. Cognitive frailty means having both physical weakness and trouble with thinking or memory. The goal is to see if using tools like the Nintendo Switch for fun, interactive activities can improve both thinking abilities and physical activity levels in older adults. This is important because improving these skills can help prevent further decline and maintain independence.
To participate in this study, individuals must be 65 years or older and show signs of cognitive decline or mild cognitive impairment. They should also have some level of physical frailty, but not have serious conditions like Alzheimer's disease or major mental health issues. Participants will take part in training sessions twice a week for eight weeks, where they will engage in activities designed to challenge both their minds and bodies. Throughout the study, researchers will measure changes in cognitive and physical function to determine how effective this dual-task approach is.
