ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how many people in France may be experiencing problems with their social media use. While social media can be fun and helpful, it can also affect our mental health in different ways. The researchers want to find out if about 10% of the population is struggling with their use of platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, similar to findings in other European countries. Understanding this issue is important because it can help doctors better support individuals, especially young people, who might find it hard to manage their online time.
To be part of this study, participants need to be at least 13 years old, live in France, and speak French. They should also be willing to participate, and if they are minors, their parents need to agree as well. Participants will complete a questionnaire about their social media habits and how they feel about them. This information will help researchers understand the extent of social media use problems in the country and develop better tools for those who may need help.
