ClinConnect Summary
The Health4Life trial is focused on helping parents create healthy lifestyle habits for their babies right from the start. The aim is to prevent overweight and obesity in children by using a special app that supports parents in making healthy choices about food, screen time, physical activity, and sleep for their infants. The study will look at how effective this app is over 16 months, including how it affects children’s health and how confident parents feel in making these healthy choices. Researchers will also explore how well the app works with healthcare professionals and whether parents find it helpful.
To be eligible for this trial, babies need to be between 0 to 2 months old and visiting specific child healthcare centers in Sweden. However, babies with certain health issues or families that might struggle to understand the app's content will not be included. If you participate, you can expect to use the app and provide feedback on your experience, which will help improve support for families in the future. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it’s a great opportunity to contribute to the health of future generations!
