ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of listening to music on reducing anxiety and preventing vasospasm (a tightening of blood vessels) in patients who are undergoing a procedure called transradial coronary angiography. This procedure is commonly used to look at the heart's blood vessels and is done while the patient is awake. The researchers believe that music can help calm patients, making the experience less stressful and potentially reducing the likelihood of vasospasm, which can occur in about 4-20% of patients during this type of procedure.
To participate in the study, individuals must be at least 18 years old, have never undergone coronary angiography before, and be able to understand and read Turkish. They should be willing to listen to music during the procedure and should not have any anxiety disorders or hearing problems. Participants can expect to receive music during their angiography, which may help them feel more relaxed. The goal of the trial is to see if this simple addition can improve the overall experience and safety of the procedure for patients.
