ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new type of dental implant called a one-piece compressive implant system. The main goal is to understand how the position of the implant in the mouth affects its stability when it's placed. Stability is important because it helps the implant bond with the bone over time, which is crucial for it to function properly. The study will compare how well this specific implant works in the upper and lower jaws, with the hope of finding the best timing for when the implant can be used with a fixed replacement tooth.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be seeking dental implants to replace missing teeth and should have had any teeth that need replacing removed at least two months prior. It's important that there is enough healthy bone available for the implant to be placed securely. However, people with certain health conditions, recent radiation treatment, heavy smokers, pregnant or nursing women, and those with active gum infections will not be eligible. Participants can expect to receive a dental implant and will be monitored to see how well it functions based on its placement. This study is currently recruiting participants of all ages.
