ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how eating fresh mangoes or low-fat cookies affects gut health and how this, in turn, might relate to mental, sexual, and skin health in healthy adults. The goal is to see if mango consumption can positively influence the gut microbiome, which is the community of bacteria living in our intestines that play an important role in our overall health.
To participate, you need to be generally healthy and between the ages of 18 and 62, with a body mass index (BMI) between 20 and 40. However, if you smoke, are pregnant, take antibiotics or certain medications, or have allergies to mango or wheat, you won’t be eligible. Participants will be recruited for the study soon, and they can expect to share their experiences and possibly enjoy some tasty mangoes while contributing to important research about how diet affects our health.
