ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of two different omega-3 oil supplements on healthy adults. It aims to see how these supplements can change the omega-3 index in the body, which reflects how well someone is getting the beneficial fats found in fish. The trial will compare a whole, unprocessed salmon oil with a standard, processed omega-3 oil to understand their impact on heart health, inflammation, cholesterol levels, and even sleep quality.
To participate in this study, you need to be a healthy adult aged between 40 and 80 years, and you should have maintained a stable body weight for the last three months. People who are pregnant, have fish allergies, or are already taking fish oil supplements cannot join the trial. If you’re eligible and decide to participate, you’ll help researchers learn more about how these supplements may affect your overall health. This could be an exciting opportunity to contribute to important health research!
