ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at different rehabilitation methods for patients who have experienced a stroke and are dealing with a condition called unilateral spatial neglect (USN). USN affects a person's ability to pay attention to one side of their surroundings, which can make recovery more difficult. The trial aims to find effective ways to help these patients improve their attention and overall recovery by testing various treatment approaches, including both medication and therapy.
To be eligible for the study, participants need to be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have normal cognitive abilities for their age and education level. They must also have a confirmed diagnosis of USN related to their stroke. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and those who join can expect to be part of a program that explores new rehabilitation techniques tailored to their needs. This research is important because, while some traditional methods help, there is still a need for better approaches to support stroke patients with USN in their recovery journey.
