ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how walking with a dog might help people who have both tinnitus (a ringing or buzzing sound in the ears) and mild obstructive sleep apnea (a condition that causes breathing problems during sleep). Researchers believe that regular exercise can improve symptoms for those with these conditions, and walking with a dog may make it easier for people to stick to a walking routine. The trial is currently looking for 40 participants who are obese, have chronic tinnitus in both ears, and mild sleep apnea.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be between the ages of 18 and 65, have a body mass index (BMI) that is less than 40, and not have any serious cardiovascular, liver, kidney, autoimmune, or orthopedic issues. If you join the trial, you'll be asked to engage in walking exercises with a dog, which may help improve your overall health and reduce tinnitus symptoms. This study could offer a fun and engaging way to stay active while addressing these health concerns.
