ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into a new program called Technology-Enabled Collaborative Care for Young Adults with Type 1 Diabetes, also known as TECC-T1D3. The goal of this study is to see how well this program works in helping young adults aged 18 to 29 who have Type 1 Diabetes and are dealing with diabetes-related stress. Participants will receive support from a health coach and a virtual care team to help them manage their mental health and overall wellbeing.
To join the study, participants must be young adults living in Ontario who have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes for at least one year and are living independently in the community. Unfortunately, those who cannot communicate in English or participate through phone or web-based meetings will not be eligible. If you decide to participate, you can expect to engage in a supportive program tailored to your needs, which aims to improve both your diabetes management and emotional health. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so it's a great opportunity to receive help while contributing to important research.
