ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how to manage pain for patients with acute appendicitis who need emergency surgery. Specifically, the study is comparing three different methods: a TAP block, an ESP block, and tramadol (a type of pain medication). The goal is to see which method helps reduce pain before surgery, making the experience more comfortable for patients.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and able to give your written consent. However, there are some conditions that would exclude you from participating, such as having certain medical issues, allergies to local anesthetics, or being pregnant. If you join the study, you can expect to receive one of the pain management methods before your surgery, and researchers will monitor how well it works. This research aims to improve pain control for patients like you in emergency situations, helping to ensure a better experience during a challenging time.
