ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how the quality of life improves for children aged 8 to 17 who have a heart condition called arrhythmia and need a specific procedure known as transcatheter ablation. The purpose of the study is to see if this procedure helps children feel better overall, and to do this, they will answer several questionnaires about their health and well-being before and after the procedure. Parents will also fill out a questionnaire to provide their perspective on their child's quality of life.
To be eligible for this trial, children must be between 8 and 17 years old and have a diagnosed heart rhythm disorder that requires the procedure, as recommended by medical guidelines. The study will not proceed if the child or their parents do not agree to participate, and those who cannot understand or complete the questionnaires will not be included. This research aims to gather important information about the benefits of transcatheter ablation, helping doctors understand how it affects the lives of young patients.
