ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two types of dental implants to see which one is better for replacing missing teeth. The researchers want to compare a new type of implant with variable threads, designed to improve stability during the healing process, against a standard implant that has been widely used. They hope to find out which implant provides better results based on how well they stay in place, how they look on X-rays, and how patients feel about them.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and in good health. You should be looking to replace a single missing tooth in the back of your mouth and have good oral hygiene. If you have certain health conditions, like gum disease or are pregnant, you may not be eligible. If you enroll, you'll be randomly assigned to receive either the new variable-thread implant or the standard one. Throughout the study, you’ll have follow-up appointments to monitor how well your implant is doing. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could help improve dental care for others in the future.
