ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how lack of sleep affects the way our bodies process sugar, also known as glucose metabolism, and whether this impact is different for men and women. Researchers want to understand if not getting enough sleep can lead to issues with how our bodies handle glucose, which is important for energy and overall health.
To participate in this study, you need to be a healthy adult who doesn't smoke, has regular sleep patterns, and can stay in the lab for 10 days and nights over two separate visits. Women participants should have regular menstrual cycles. The study is not looking for people with any history of sleep disorders, mental health issues, or those who take certain medications. If you join, you'll help researchers learn more about the effects of sleep on health, and your participation could contribute to important discoveries regarding sleep and metabolism.
