ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help people who are feeling very tired after having a stroke. Researchers want to see if a treatment called transcranial direct current stimulation (which is a gentle electrical stimulation applied to the head) combined with a cognitive behavioral program can reduce fatigue and improve the overall well-being of stroke survivors.
To join the study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and have had a stroke at least 6 months ago. They should also have a certain level of fatigue that can be measured with a questionnaire. However, those with serious medical issues, other neurological diseases, or who are currently involved in other clinical trials won’t be able to participate. Participants can expect to engage in both the stimulation treatment and the behavioral program, which may help them feel less tired and improve their daily activities. The study is currently recruiting, so there’s an opportunity for eligible individuals to take part in this important research.
